WOOD CHIPS FOR THE ELECTRIC SMOKER

Electric Smoker wood Chips are very small pieces of wood that are used for barbeque Flavor and quick burst of smoke. Before using the chips read the instructions on your Electric or gas smoker. Some smoker is designed to be comfortable with wood chips. Whether you are using wood chips or chunks ( Chunks on the other hand are large pieces of hardwood less than two inches usually used for creating smoke for longer period of time) whether you are using wood chips or chunks you want them not to burn away quickly.

This create intense burst of smoke that can make food bitter. By soaking wood chunks in water for about 15 minutes you can slow down the combustion and the lengthen the time for which smoke is created. Make sure you let the wood dry for few minutes before you add it to the fire you want the wood to be moist not wet.
